Mineral Tram Way Ultra
February 21st 2021
Introduction:
The coast to coast trail passes through a range of scenery from coastal to woodland and heath and traverses the land through Cornwall's mining heartland, coast to coast and then back again.
Micro Event:
The event uses the Geo Tracks GPS tracker to show the positions of participants on a live view tracking map. Participants start at different times but can re play there GPS trace against others starting from a zeroed time, in effect, virtually racing each other.
This is self navigation, self supported ultra run. Participants are to use the issued GPS tracker and the Geo Tracks app alongside their own electronic navigation device to complete the route. A GPS watch with the GPX route loaded into it is highly recommend. Participants will need a support crew to drop them off at the start, assist on route and collect them at the finish. Please make sure you read the ‘About micro events’ page before signing up.
