WHAT IS A MICRO EVENT?

WHERE DOES MY RACE NUMBER GO?

Your race number needs to be on your back whilst riding and on your front whilst running.  We would recommend using a race number belt.  Your number must be visible at all times otherwise, you may incur to a two-minute penalty as listed in the British Triathlon Rules.  Please write any medical information that you feel we may need to be aware of on the back of your number.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A WETSUIT?

Wearing of wetsuits in triathlon is governed by British Triathlon rules and is totally dependent on water temperature one hour before the start of the event.  For most UK events wetsuits will have to be worn.  

DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF TRIATHLON ENGLAND, TRIATHLON SCOTLAND OR THE WELSH TRIATHLON ASSOCIATION TO RACE?

No you don't have to be a member. 

ARE THERE ANY RULES IN THE RACE?

Race rules are listed on all the event pages and in the pre event guide, Please make sure you read them before the race.  If you are doing a triathlon or duathlon please be aware of the British Triathlon’s rules and regulations. otherwise, you may be penalised if you break a rule.  See British Triathlon’s Website for more information on rules, if you struggle finding what you need please call them on 01509 226161 or email us at events@votwo.co.uk 

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PRE-EVENT PACK?

You will get your pre-event pack two weeks prior to the start of the event.  You can view last year's pack by clicking on the download that is on the event page.

I’VE LOST MY CONFIRMATION, DO I NEED IT TO BRING IT TO REGISTER?   

No you don't, Please email us prior to the event to let us know you have lost it - events@votwo.co.uk and then bring valid ID to registration on race day.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY RACE NUMBERS?  

You will collect your race numbers when you register at the venue 

I HAVE ENTERED THE RACE, BUT NOW I CAN'T DO IT, CAN I GET A REFUND OR TRANSFER MY ENTRY?    

Any event entry cancellation received by email to events@votwo.co.uk more than 14 days prior to the event date will receive a 50% refund or transfer of entry fee towards another votwo event (£10 transfer fee applies). Only emailed cancellations are acceptable. Cancellations made in the last 14 days before the event start date will not be eligible for any refund or transfer.
