Votwo Events and Adventure Ltd - Bike Hire Terms and Conditions

1. General Agreement
   By hiring a bike from Votwo Events and Adventure Ltd, the hirer agrees to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Condition of Equipment
   All bikes are provided in a clean and roadworthy condition. It is the hirer’s responsibility to inspect the bike before use and report any pre-existing damage or issues to Votwo Events and Adventure Ltd staff.

3. Hirer’s Responsibilities

   • The hirer is responsible for the care and use of the bike for the entire hire period.

   • The hirer must use the bike safely, responsibly, and in accordance with any applicable laws.

   • The hirer is responsible for selecting the correct bike size relative to their height at the point of purchase of hire. Guidance on bike size can be requested via email at events@votwo.co.uk before completing the booking.

   • The hirer must not make any modifications to the issued bike.

   • The hirer must leave adequate time before their start time to collect, fit, and test the bike to ensure they are comfortable and safe to ride.

   • Helmets and safety equipment, if provided, must be used appropriately.

4. Damage or Loss

   • The hirer is liable for any damage to the bike during the hire period, regardless of how the damage occurred.

   • In the event of loss, theft, or irreparable damage, the hirer must pay the full replacement cost of the bike and any associated equipment.

   • Repair costs for minor damages will be assessed by Votwo Events and Adventure Ltd, and the hirer will be invoiced accordingly.

5. Refund Policy

   • Requests for refunds must be made via email to events@votwo.co.uk.

   • A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made up to two weeks before the event.

   • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than two weeks before the event.

6. Return of Equipment

   • Bikes must be returned on time and in the same condition as when they were hired, allowing for reasonable wear and tear.

   • Late returns may incur additional charges.

7. Liability
   Votwo Events and Adventure Ltd is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages caused by the hirer’s use of the bike during the hire period.

8. Insurance
   The hirer is advised to ensure they have adequate personal insurance to cover liabilities, injuries, or other unforeseen incidents during the hire period.

9. Acceptance
   By signing the hire agreement or taking possession of the bike, the hirer acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
