Votwo is delighted to welcome Belron International and Belron UK people along with their family and friends to our public event at Dorney Lake, Windsor. This is an opportunity to take part in a live sporting event and accumulate more kilometers for the Spirit of Belron Round the World Challenge. Votwo is proud to support you in raising funds for Afrika Tikkun and we will be donating 15% of your entry fee to the charity.
Introduction:
The Olympic venue, Eton Dorney, offers a flat, traffic-free course and a beautiful clear lake. This public event is open to Belron International and Belron UK employees and their friends and family. You can participate in triathlon distances, a half marathon, a 10 kilometre run, or a 5 kilometre walk.

Courses:
Flat and very, very fast! Dorney Lake is renowned for its traffic-free, smooth tarmac course. The perfect setting for first-time racers and more experienced athletes alike. See the course maps at the bottom of this page.
Swim Course:
Super Sprint = x 1/2 lap. Sprint = 1 lap. Standard = 2 laps
750m clockwise. Rectangle course with the swim exit into transition. The water is very clean and clear. The lake tends to warm up very quickly after a few days of sunshine. The course marked by large inflatable buoys. Keep these to your right.
Bike Course:
Super Sprint = X 2 laps. Sprint = X 4 laps. Standard = X 8 laps.
Anti-clockwise lapped course around the return lake. Each lap is 5km long. Ride on the left-hand side and overtake on the right. No drafting or riding as a group. It is advisable to use a GPS or bike odometer to aid in counting laps.
Run Course (Triathlon):
Super Sprint = X 1/2 lap. Sprint = X 1 lap. Standard = X 2 laps.
Clockwise, looped course using the lakeside path and returning on the estate road. Drinks stations at the far and close turn points.
Transition:
The transition area is in front of the shower/toilet block and event registration.
Run Course 10KM and Half Marathon:
A clockwise full lap of the lake and venue for the 10km, a slightly further turn point for the 1/2 Marathon and 2 laps to be completed.

Pre-Event Information Pack:
A link will be populated here and emailed to all entrants pre-event, giving detailed event instructions. It is a condition of entry to this event that you participate according to the instructions in the event information.
Team/Relay:
For this event, all the triathlon distances are open to teams of 3. Each team member completes a discipline in succession. You must inform the staff at registration on the day that you are a team entry as you will be provided with specific instructions for handing the chip between team members.
Finishers Medals:
Your medal will be issued to you just after the finish line.

Event Rules:
As part of the entry system to the event all participants agree to the following:
Triathlon briefings will be held 10 minutes before the start in the swim in area. You must attend the briefing ready to start your triathlon
All cyclists will wear a correctly fitted BS-EN cycle helmet
Cycles must have working front and rear brakes and all equipment must be in good serviceable order
Drafting and riding in groups is not permitted
Rules continued:
Cyclists must ride on the left-hand side of the track and overtake on the right
Runners must run on the left-hand side of the path and overtake on the right
All cyclists will adhere to the rules and regulations of the highway code. Details can be found here

Spectators:
Eton Dorney is the perfect venue for spectators with a large viewing balcony and cafe at the boathouse.
Refunds / Transfers:
Please ensure you read and agree to the Votwo Events terms and conditions when you enter the event. In brief, the refund policy is as follows:
Any event entry cancellation received by email to events@votwo.co.uk more than 14 days prior to the event date will receive a 50% refund or transfer of entry fee towards another votwo event (£5 transfer fee applies). Only emailed cancellations are acceptable. Cancellations made in the 14 days prior to the event start date will not be eligible for any refund or transfer.
