Introduction:

St Michael's Way is a coast to coast, 19km route between Lelant, near St Ives, and St Michael's Mount, near Penzance. Due to its historical significance St Michael's Way is the only footpath in Britain that is part of a designated European Cultural Route.

Micro Event:

The event uses the Geo Tracks GPS tracker to show the positions of participants on a live view tracking map. Participants start at different times but can re-play their GPS trace against others starting from a zeroed time, in effect, virtually racing each other.

This is self navigation, self supported run. Participants are to use the issued GPS tracker and the Geo Tracks app alongside their own electronic navigation device to complete the route. A GPS watch with the GPX route loaded into it is highly recommend. Participants will need a support crew to drop them off at the start, assist on route and collect them at the finish. Please make sure you read the ‘About micro events’ page before signing up.
